Music gives students a practical way to connect listening, reading, pattern recognition, memory, expression, and disciplined practice. Piano and vocal study also give students a long-term skill they can perform, share, and enjoy. Lessons are adjusted to the student’s pace without losing the structure and accountability that help progress become consistent.

Piano
Weekly foundational instruction
Thirty-minute weekly lessons focused on technique, reading, rhythm, theory, expression, and performance. Herriman-area appointments are offered Monday 11 a.m.–1 p.m. and 2–3 p.m.; Tuesday–Thursday 10 a.m.–1 p.m. and 4–6 p.m., subject to availability.
Vocal
Healthy technique and complete musicianship
Weekly instruction in singing fundamentals, pitch, breath, tone, diction, notation, theory, interpretation, performance, and introductory composition. Scheduling is offered Monday 11 a.m.–1 p.m. and 2–3 p.m.; Tuesday–Thursday 10 a.m.–1 p.m. and 4–6 p.m., subject to availability.
Choir and ensemble
A shared music-learning experience
Blue choir serves grades 3–6: Monday morning 9:30–10:30 a.m. or Friday morning 11 a.m.–noon. Yellow choir serves grades 7–12: Monday afternoon 4–5 p.m. or Friday afternoon 2–3 p.m. Each session is capped at 20 students. Any student may reserve a suitable session. All times are Mountain Time.
Online
Instruction beyond the Herriman area
Online piano and vocal lessons are private only. Students may choose live instruction, recorded instruction and feedback, or a combination of both at $130 per month for piano or $150 per month for voice. Four-month marketplace tuition is $520 for private piano or $600 for private voice.

Does my student need prior music experience?+
No. Beginners are welcome. The first conversation helps identify readiness, interests, goals, and an appropriate starting point.
Are lessons private or group-based?+
Private in-studio piano is $120 monthly or $480 for four months; private online piano is $130 monthly or $520 for four months. Private in-studio vocal is $140 monthly or $560 for four months; private online vocal is $150 monthly or $600 for four months. Every half-hour window is reserved for one student.
Can students outside Herriman participate?+
Yes. Out-of-area students can use private live online instruction, recorded lessons and feedback, or a combination of both. Online piano tuition is $130 per month and voice tuition is $150 per month, for individual instruction. Choir and ensemble activities require attendance at the scheduled group time unless the studio arranges otherwise.
How is Utah Fits All tuition paid?+
Utah Fits All packages are offered through the scholarship marketplace and paid upfront for the listed enrollment period (four months for lessons; a semester for choir). Complete the Marketplace purchase first, then use the Utah Fits All option on the lesson calendar to request a weekly time. Do not pay through Stripe. The time is held temporarily and becomes confirmed only after the studio verifies the Marketplace purchase.
What happens if a lesson is missed?+
Contact the studio at least 24 hours before the lesson. Makeup lessons are allowed when space is available, but they are not guaranteed. Emergencies are considered individually. See the Studio Policies page for full terms.
Are books and materials included?+
Semester tuition includes a $25 materials allocation supporting choir supplies and resources, which may include music, folders, apparel, and other program materials. Required lesson materials depend on the student and course of study. The studio will explain what is needed before purchase. Borrowed studio materials must be returned as described in the Studio Policies.
